Gathering and processing feedback before
publishing your Foleon Doc is a critical
part of the content creation process.
Our ‘Review mode’ feature helps you
better manage the process with
built-in commenting. This feature
is available for select plans.
In this lesson, you will learn:
How ‘Review mode’ works
How to invite people to
review and comment on your Docs and
best practices from our customers
Let’s say I’m working on a newsletter
and need some input from my coworkers.
This will take us to the ‘Review
mode’ — which will open in a new tab.
From in the ‘Review mode’, you can
switch the toggle between ‘Browse’
and ‘Comment’ depending on what you want to do.
As I’m collaborating with a few
coworkers on this newsletter,
I want to ask Lobke to add her paragraph
in a specific section. I navigate to the
page I want in ‘Browse’ mode and
then switch to ‘Comment’ mode.
I then write my request in a comment,
tagging her in the specific section.
Now, I switch back to ‘Browse’
and go to the next page. Here,
I want to ask Joanna if she
could double-check these metrics.
I change to ‘Comment’ mode, and then I simply
add my question as a comment tagging her.
Any user in your workspace can
post comments and reply to others.
Once they’ve been tagged, they will receive a
notification via email. Email notifications will
also be sent out when there’s a reply to a comment
you wrote or a reply in a thread you’re part of.
If you need feedback from more people in your
team, you can share a ‘Review link’ with them.
If you need feedback from a team member
who doesn’t have access to the Editor,
you’ll have to ask your Admin to add a Reviewer.
Reviewers can be invited in the
‘Users’ tab of the dashboard.
Once that is done, you can see two
types of users in your Foleon plan.
Reviewers, however, don't count
toward the maximum user seats.
For that reason, we have a separate
counter for ‘Reviewers,’ making it
easier for you to keep track.
The Admin can delete users in
both categories to open up more slots.
You can always reach out to your Customer
Success Manager to inquire about
adding more users or reviewers.
Once you’ve collected all the feedback
from your stakeholders, it’s time to
review the comments and make changes to the Doc.
If you get more feedback once the Foleon Doc is
published, don’t worry! You can make any changes,
big or small, to your Doc even after publishing.
You can republish your content
as frequently as you like and
not lose sleep over version management or
updating links in emails and landing pages.
The URL will always stay the same
— unless you change its setup.
And your readers will automatically
experience the latest Doc version.
Thank you for watching, and have fun
collaborating on your Foleon Docs with your team!
