Hi, I'm James Nadal.
I work for IRIS software group as a content
manager.
IRIS provides a wide range of software solutions
that help businesses become more efficient and more successful.
We were tending to rely on PDFs very heavily.
The kind of content assets we would produce
regularly like brochures, white papers, or
insight guides started to look a bit tired
and old — not so engaging.
I had a proposal for a new customer news microsite.
So, I needed to find a solution that was going
to make the project achievable and feasible.
And rather than having to build an entirely
new website from scratch, it was important
that we had something self-contained and easy
to use — without involving lots of resources.
We were able to use Foleon as a much more
simple, straightforward solution.
Almost out-of-the-box.
It needed to be something that looked fantastic.
Something that was going to have an impact
visually.
And I think from the first time that I saw
it, I was very much impressed by the aesthetics of Foleon.
It has the ability to look almost like a magazine.
It's very visually attractive.
It got lots of animation and interactivity
built into it.
I hadn't seen anything like it previously
myself.
And things like being able to measure the
performance and being able to track certain things.
The fact that it integrated with Marketo,
the software that we use as well, was also very appealing.
I don't think we'd have found it anywhere
near as easy to launch our customer news microsite
"Your Accountancy Life" without using Foleon.
It enabled us to get things moving very quickly
by removing a lot of the hassle that would've
been involved otherwise.
It offers something different, and I think
it's a more modern way of presenting information and marketing materials.
